kadu-dev software package provides Development files needed to compile plugins for kadu, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kadu-dev
kadu-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kadu-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kadu-dev *
You will get with kadu-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
